Financial experts teaching those needing financial literacy

Loans

Financing those small business owners that can’t typically access funds. Maintaining the Perpetual Entrepreneur Fund (superscript (C)) The EFL Foundation will deliver and service interest-free loans to those with a dream for a for-profit business idea. As recipients pay back the loans, the funds will be ‘recycled’ and used in the future for other small business owners.

Grants

Micro Grants to those with broader business ideas helping others. These Grants will be awarded to those with creative for-profit business ideas that also benefit their local community, the environment, or disadvantaged groups.

Educational Events

Education events at no cost to attendees online and at Live events around the Country. Events will be taught by volunteers who are experts in the financial industry and have the ability to teach complex topics in an easy-to-understand format. Educators will not be compensated for their time or allowed to aggressively promote their products are services, creating a healthy learning environment for attendees.

All donations are 100%
tax-deductible under the Foundation’s 501(c)3 status.

The Process

6 Targeted Strategies to Fulfill our Mission!!

1.No Management or Operational Costs are taken from donations.

  • Our #1 Goal is to make sure 100% of all donated funds are used for the direct implementation of the Foundation's mission with no paid staff or operational costs and services donated.
  • KKOS Lawyers [hyperlink] has donated all of the time and resources needed for legal costs to set-up and maintain the foundation.
  • K&E CPAs [hyperlink] has donated all of the time and resources needed for the tax preparation, bookkeeping and reporting needs of the foundation.

2.Fundraising began on October 15th, 2021.

  • Funds will be gathered, accounted for with future tax returns and annual reports provided on this website with complete transparency.
  • Funds will be maintained in a money market account, or similar type investment accounts with the goal of nominal returns exceeding annual inflation rates until disbursed under the Mission of the Foundation.

3.Loan Applications will be accepted beginning January 1, 2022.

  • Loan Applications will be available on the Foundation Website as soon as possible.
  • Interest-free loans will be granted once a month beginning February 1, 2022
  • The Board of Directors for the Foundation will determine the qualifications of the loans as soon as possible.
  • Loans will vary in amounts and terms based on the type of business and the applicant.

4.Grant Applications will be accepted beginning January 1, 2022.

  • Grant Applications will be available on the Foundation Website as soon as possible.
  • Recipients of Grants will not be required to pay back the Grant amount, but provide public reports on their success for a period of time reported on the Foundation Website.
  • Grants will begin to be awarded once a month beginning February 1, 2022
  • The Board of Directors for the Foundation will determine the qualifications for the Grants as soon as possible.
  • Grants will vary in amounts and terms based on the type of business and the applicant.

5.A Schedule of Educational Events will commence on January 1, 2022

  • Events will consist of online experiences as well as Live events in person.
  • Attendees will not be charged for attending either type of events, but are responsible for their own travel costs if attending in person.
  • Speakers and Trainers will not be compensated for their time when teaching students of the Foundation.

6.On-Demand Online Education

  • The Foundation Board Members, Speakers, and Trainers will record training videos and webinars to support Foundation Students.
  • All educators providing training will not be compensated for their time and will be 100% volunteers.
  • Students will not pay in any way for online educational resources.
